I once read a quote by Maya Angelou many years ago when I had begun my conscious journey that said – “Courage is the most important of all virtues because without courage, you cant practice any other virtue consistently. You can practice any virtue erratically but nothing consistently without courage.
The Buddha also said something similar where he stated that wisdom is useless without energy, that we need both wisdom and energy to achieve enlightenment. Haven worked along side so many, I can see how not having both is a loosing battle. We need courage to keep striving. One advice I give seekers is to watch out for coincidental distractions that seem to pop out of no where. Just when you want to meditate, take an important decision, make the call that could change your life, you get the distraction. They are not a coincidence. They were placed there to stop you from moving forward to your destiny. It is easy to miss them and think they are important only to find out that you had been misdirected by a distraction. Staying on the path is no joke but be reminded that the holy spirit is there to guide you all the way to the end. Take courage.
