It is The Human Spirit That Thinks
A desire to know the truth is one thing.
A desire to understand the truth is another thing.
And a desire to see the truth is something else.
A desire for what is true is one thing.
A grasp of what is true is another thing.
and thinking what is true is something else.
When people do not have a clear grasp of the inner workings of the mind, they will not be able to differentiate between these statements, but it is clear for people who can grasp spiritual thinking clearly.
People will not see these statements clearly if they cannot grasp the inner workings of the mind. The reason it is not clear for people is that these activities are all happening at the same time in the thinking of people who are caught up in a desire for what is true and in a grasp of what is true. These activities are happening in the mind at the same time which makes it difficult to distinguish these activities.
We are engaged in conscious thinking when our spirit is thinking in the body.
This is the case especially when we are in the company of others. However, when we are engaged in a desire for understanding, we will come into a grasp of what is true and thereby engage in the thinking of our spirit.
The practice of meditation allows us to reach beyond our physical/ego thoughts in a delicate and subtle way.

Meditation As A Tool For Digging Into The Mind
It is often assumed that meditation is an end when it is simply a means to an end. Without having a clear understanding of the purpose of meditation, time will be wasted.
The fine art of meditation digs into our thought processes beyond basic memory and problem solving. Meditation is like a shovel that softens the outer layer of the ego mind. This cannot happen without a desire for what is true and to understand those truths. This desire ignites a pleasure impulse and divine love enters the mind.
Divine love allows the mind to grasp what is true and understanding is born. When love enters our mind, it ignites three things in the mind;
the desire for what is true, the desire to understand what it knows, and finally, the desire to see in physical thought whatever it understands.
Thinking is actually nothing but an inner sight. Thinking does happen first because it is a function of our ego mind; but when it comes to thinking on the basis of a grasp of what is true because of a desire for what is true, real thinking happens last. This kind of thinking is the thinking of wisdom, while the other (ego thinking) is thinking on the basis of memories stored in the egoic mind.

The Law of Correspondence and The Union of Love And Wisdom
The law of correspondence simply states that everything on earth corresponds to something in the higher dimensions and that which is in the higher dimension corresponds to something on earth. Therefore, everything we need to know and learn about life and spirituality is all around us. We can tell that divine love and wisdom is life itself and without it, we become sluggish as love ebbs away from us and dull as wisdom ebbs away; and if they leave us completely, we are snuffed out.
We are currently living in the Iron Age where everything is explained solely by material evidence without thought to correspondence with the higher dimensions. Since science cannot explain the real meaning of life or provide evidence of love, spirit and soul, it opted to avoid this subject all together. Without a knowledge of correspondence or of divine love and wisdom, any information brought about by scientific evidence is largely incomplete and ultimately corrosive to human growth and development.
When a desire for what is true unites with divine love in the mind, wisdom is born in the mind. Enlightenment comes when divine love meets our desire for what is good because what is good is true. We may catch a glimpse of true spiritual thinkers by the golden halo around their heads.
